Advancement in LCoH Modelling
Engage in the ongoing refinement and application of LCoH (Levelized Cost of Hydrogen) modelling techniques. Continuously enhance existing methodologies and execute their deployment across relevant projects. Expand the scope of modelling activities to incorporate Energy Market Modelling, with a specific emphasis on integrating renewable energy sources.

Benchmarking and Target Setting
Conduct comprehensive benchmarking exercises to assess LCoH performance against industry standards and competitors. Utilize benchmarking insights to establish ambitious yet achievable targets for cost efficiency and performance improvement. Drive strategic initiatives aimed at achieving and surpassing these targets, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.

Product Value and Cost Simulation
Lead the development and execution of product value and cost simulations, leveraging advanced analytical tools and methodologies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to model various scenarios and assess their impact on product economics. Drive the creation and refinement of simulation tools to enhance accuracy and scalability, supporting informed decision-making processes.

Competitiveness Evaluation and Roadmap Analysis
Evaluate the competitiveness of existing LCoH strategies and roadmap initiatives. Identify gaps and opportunities for improvement through thorough analysis of market trends, technological advancements, and competitor activities. Prepare comprehensive reports outlining findings and recommendations to inform strategic decision-making processes. Regularly update stakeholders on the evolving landscape of LCoH competitiveness through detailed reports and presentations.

YOUR PROFILE
WHAT TO BRING?

Education
You hold a B.Sc., M.Sc. or an MBA - preferably in IT, Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics combined with a commercial education or relevant commercial experience – or in Economics/ Business combined with a technical education or relevant technical experience.

Experience
You will need previous work experience required within Financial Engineering/Modelling in the hydrogen industry or renewable energy sector (i.e. wind energy). Further the position requieres work experience in Product Management and/or the hydrogen, wind, or solar industry as a plus. You will need a good understanding of the renewable energy market and corresponding market economic models and business drivers. In addition to the previous points you will need professional programming skills (e.g. MS Excel or other simulation tools), and very good data processing and reporting skills.

Personality
You are a person with strong analytical skills and very data oriented, high abstraction capability and flexibility. You are a team player and an excellent networker who appreciate to work with many stakeholders in a growing organization, as well as you have a commercial mindset combined with deep computing skills. Furthermore you are pro-active, self-driven and you always have the results in focus. Your motivation by taking your knowledge about renewable energy economics and turning it into profitable hydrogen products that deliver attractive value for our customers and profitable growth for Sunfire completes your profile.

Language
For this position you will need excellent communication skills, and you need to be fluent in English (written and spoken). German and other languages is a plus.
