YOUR MAIN TASKS
- You will contribute to our high temperature electrolysis product development
- You are part of the interdisciplinary stack design & materials team (>10 Members) with an outstanding engineering competence (>80% PhD) which is employing advanced development methodologies (e.g. DFSS, DOE, FMEA, Agile PM) and has access to wide range of advanced computational and experimental resources
- You are the expert for all aspects related to the thermo-mechanical behavior of high temperature electrolysis stacks
- You set up cutting edge models and numerical simulations describing the mechanical load situation and respective material reactions, including friction, elasto-visco-plastic deformation and fracture to identify potential design flaws and to derive potential design solutions, using Finite Element Analyses (FEA) and other sophisticated state-of-the art methods
- You set up experiments that validate or improve your models and the respective results
- You conduct advanced tolerance studies to derive the functional relationship between design, product and process features
- You contribute to the respective stack design FMEAs and technical specifications and design stack components with CAD (SolidWorks)
